NATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Our carwash company is expanding with projects and opportunities across the United States, and we’re seeking an experienced and visionary National Business Development Manager with a proven track record of success in carwash business sales or in a related industry. In this critical role, you’ll be at the forefront to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction by leading sales efforts for our carwash equipment and installation services. Your responsibilities will include building trusted, long-term client relationships, delivering tailored solutions aligned to client’s goals, and designing and executing sales strategies to serve new clients effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing clients – including carwash owners, investors, and operators.
- Provide clients with detailed product knowledge and customized equipment solutions; capture project information from clients and work with our team to convert estimates to accurate project quotes or service orders; close sales, ensure fulfillment, and provide support to clients.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set quotas, generate leads, analyze customer needs, develop sales strategies, and conduct negotiations aligned to company’s mission and values.
- Know industry advancements, identify potential new markets, understand competitors, and create forecasts.
- Contribute to the planning and hosting of sales events and effectively represent the company at trade shows, association meetings, and other events.
- Utilize software to record and manage client and sales data, prepare budgets, manage expenses, track sales performance metrics; produce and analyze reports to assess profitability, set targets, and provide actionable insights to the team.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth in industrial equipment or construction sales; carwash industry experience preferred, but not required
- Expertise in networking, building trust, and cultivating long-term partnerships with clients
- Knowledge of or desire to learn about carwash equipment, installation processes, and industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
- Ability to set and attain sales goals, prioritize tasks, and document data accurately and efficiently
- Ability to collaborate with others and maintain clear, open, proactive communication verbally and in writing
- Willingness to travel nationwide (up to 75%)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to consent to a driving record and criminal background checks
- Physical Demands: Ability to continuously stand or walk for prolonged periods; ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, climb ladders of various sizes, reach, and lift frequently (lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally); must be able to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and use controls, equipment, and tools; vision must be sufficient to see details up close and must have the ability to focus
Benefits:
- Starting Pay (commensurate with experience): $75,000-$80,000 base annual salary plus sales-based uncapped commission
